Nikon Coolpix S1000pj Digital Camera with Built-in Projector
The Nikon Coolpix S1000pj Digital Camera is the world’s first digicam with a built in projector. This 12.1-megapixel resolution camera features a 5x wide-angle Zoom-NIKKOR glass lens; 5-way VR image stabilization system and a 2.7-inch high-resolution LCD. But the best feature is that ultra-small 10 lumens bright projector that can throw a 5-40 inch image anywhere from 10 inches to 6.5 feet away. Great for instantly sharing your slideshows and movies with everyone.

Voice Interactive Coffee Machine – Talk Your Way to Good Coffee
We like a good coffee talk, but this coffee maker takes it to a new level. This is the first voice-interactive coffee maker that asks, “Would you like to set the clock or set the coffee brewing time?” and operates in response to your verbal commands. Simply saying, “Set the coffee brewing time,” or
“Set the clock,” will prompt the machine to reply, “Please say the time, including AM or PM.” It uses an advanced voice recognition system to identify any time of day you speak, eliminating the hassle of fussing with buttons.

Hamburger USB Warmer Mouse Pad
This USB hand warmer mouse pad would be one of them. It’s not that I doubt how useful it would be to have a device to warm your hand while you browse the internet. I’m more curious as to why it had to be a hamburger that does the trick.

October 2nd, 2009 at 1:28 pmTough one this week. We already have the pen cam, and the measuring cup is on my gift registry. The projector would make life easier when the kids want to see the pictures “now”, but I’d have to stop taking pictures to use it. So, I’m going to go with the coffee pot. Both of us could continue to be lazy and not even have to get up to push the button on the coffee maker. Yay!

October 2nd, 2009 at 6:36 pmHow cool is it to take pictures and video, then showing them at any time or place using the same device. Lord help our neighbors and friends who won’t know what hit them when we visit for a slide show of what great things our genius grandkids have done since we visited last week.

October 5th, 2009 at 7:30 amI voted for the camera with the projector. We have always thought in terms of two operations…film and then show. For 100 years now, we’ve had a camera and then in another location with another piece of equipment displayed the movie.
Innovated AND smart!
