Whatever you do don't bog down the site with a lot of code, K.I.S.S. fast load time is very important because I visit the site when I have a moment to spare and like to navigate through the site quickly when at work. The hundreds of categories on the left....the ads right under the content and also between these comments...i know why i read your posts via google-reader. The new site should have minimized categories and better integrated advertising. Also there should be a reason to come and visit your page instead of using a feed reader. I'm reading you for a about 3 years...and the times i visited this site is countable on one hand. Do something more interactive with your followers...little contests, polls or just a nice feature to submit cool new gadget stuff. Really looking forward to the new site.
