Microsoft to offer Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Console
by Edwin in Gaming Gadgets
The Xbox 360 has been around for quite some years already, but good thing this product life cycle is much longer lasting compared to its predecessor, giving gamers the opportunity to enjoy their favorite titles on the Xbox 360 for many more years before having to start building up a new game library all over again with the next console release. Microsoft and Activision have teamed up to bring gamers the Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Console, where it will not only come with the Xbox 360 itself, it will also include Infinity Ward’s “Modern Warfare 2″, which is the blockbuster sequel to the best-selling first-person action game in history.
The Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Console is no ordinary bundle, as it will boast an exclusive design inspired by the epic thriller, alongside additional storage space thanks to a new and improved 250GB hard drive, a couple of wireless Xbox 360 controllers to get you and your mate started right out of the box, an Xbox 360 Headset as well as a Standard Edition copy of “Modern Warfare 2″, where the entire bundle will knock you back by four Benjamins – not too shabby considering the much larger storage space available alongside all the accessories bundled together.
According to Albert Penello, senior director of global marketing for Xbox 360, “It is thrilling to bring the exclusive ‘Modern Warfare 2′-inspired Xbox 360 console to Call of Duty fans. Being able to work so closely with the talented team at Infinity Ward on the design has enabled us to develop a console that will set bragging rights around the world. These fans deserve the biggest Xbox 360 console ever, and we’re delivering with more storage space than ever before and freedom to enjoy their favorite games and downloadable Game Add-ons, including the first two ‘Modern Warfare 2′ maps that will be available first on Xbox LIVE.” We wonder just how limited this run will be…
