by Edwin in Electronic Gadgets, Office Gadgets, PC Gadgets
Epson is back this time round and they aren’t offering any projectors, although the Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner says it all – this mid-range scanning solution will bring advanced performance for photos, film, slides and everyday documents without breaking the bank. Capable of rolling out outstanding resolution and being extremely versatile, the Perfection V600 scanner will feature 6,400 x 9,600 dpi resolution and 3.4 Dmax that results in beautiful high-quality enlargements of up to 17″ x 22″ in size. In addition, it also comes with powerful photo restoration tools for both film and prints that is able to virtually resurrect faded and damaged photos that were ravaged due to the passage of time, while enhancing productivity with its Epson ReadyScan LED technology.
Regardless of whether you’re an advanced amateur or semi-professional photographer, the Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner ought to be flexible and powerful enough to handle all forms of creative scanning and color management alongside everyday office needs without missing a beat. With the Perfection V600 scanner’s complete photo restoration solution, one can roll back the years to near perfection (hence it’s name, we suppose), thanks to the V600’s patented DIGITAL ICE technology which can remove the appearance of dust and scratches from film, while making tears and creases from old, long-neglected photos disappear as though by magic. The Epson Easy Photo Fix technology can also restore faded color photos using a single press of a button, while its integrated transparency unit (TPU) is suitable for 35mm slides, negatives and medium-format panoramic film up to 6 x 22 cm.
Other abilities of the Epson Perfection V600 include the ability to scan, copy, scan-to-e-mail and create PDFs instantly thanks to its four push customizable buttons. Expect to see the Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner arrive in store shelves sometime in mid-October onwards, where it will retail for $249.99.
