Apartment live savor for cooks equipped with piss poor electric 1970's ranges. I have seen induction tops range from $60 to $1000 USD. The most important tip when purchasing an induction unit is finding a unit with accurate temperature control. Induction units work with large electric magnetic cores so pace-makers users be aware and also make certain the outlet cord from the unit does not heat up when the unit is on or return it promptly for a replacement. From 30 second "Cup-of-Soup" to crapes, happy cooking.

$200 for this?! It's only about $60 in other shops.. at least the one I bought from.. and it wasn't on sale.

By the way, it's a good cooker. It's fast and safe just like it says. Mine stopped heating right after I took the pan away from it... then turned itself off completely after 30secs of not being used.
