The Nio would come in handy when I am traveling and am trying to keep an eye on my luggage, iphone, and other belongings. A really neat gadget. Thanks for sharing.

This actually happened to me coming back to the U.S. from London. I think the thief targeted international flights with the belief that the passengers would have been gone longer and therefore have more stuff. I’m not sure if this Nio thing would have prevented this but I’ll certainly give it a try. There really is nothing available that’s even similar that I’ve seen.

It has always struck me how easy it would be to do this (steal luggage – see the posts above). No one checks that the bags you have are yours. Get to the claim early, pick an expensive looking bag and off you go. The chances of being caught are negligible – as this story shows.
