At first I was thinking they meant a better IS, but after considering it for a minute. It makes tripod and low angle shots much much easier.

A very promising camera though, I don’t mind the 10MP res, as long as noise is suppressed and low light shooting is supported by the Digic IV engine. it makes tripod and low angle shots much much easier.

You mean this is the amazing new, better, stronger, faster error 99 camera? WOW!
Couldn't sell me one at a buy one get one free sale at 1 cent with a 10 cent discount and a 5 dollar rebate.
Unless of course you could prove the shutter works. Sometimes.

My backup camera is an "old" Canon A 605 and I really need the rotating screen - it makes tripod and low angle shots much much easier. Upgrade time!

I am glad Canon decided to drop the pixel count of their G11 to 10 instead of the 14 or so in their G10.

I had returned a camera with a high pixel count because of the noise that comes with high pixels and smaller sensors.

I am one of those people who would rather do without video in their cameras, just a good picture taking camera with low noise.
