With the Smart Measure, cooking measurement gets hi-tech

The Smart Measure Cup has an LCD for precise measurement and conversion.

The Smart Measure Cup gets really precise, measuring volume exactly and displaying the unit on the LCD screen attached to the handle. So you no longer have to place the measuring cup on top of the fridge or stoop down like a someone suffering from a case of the rickets to make sure you have an accurate measurement.

Designed by Ryan Eder & Chris Daniels, a pair of our friends at Yanko Design and manufactured by Taylor Kitchenware, the Smart Measure Cup does unit conversions, can be pre-set for recipe amounts which will “beep” once you reach them, and the built in cup can be removed for easy cleaning to keep the LCD safe from getting wet.

No word on how much the Smart Measure Cup will cost, but it should be available in the fall, making it an ideal holiday gift for the foodie in your life.

If they’d really been smart, they would have made it a combination volume/weight measuring cup, by adding a scale into the base. Add _______ until you get to the target weight or volume.
