Trace of Time Concept Clock Erases Your Day

by Mark R in Conceptual Gadgets, Electronic Gadgets, Office Gadgets

trace_of_time“This is your life and it’s ending one second at a time.”

I stole that line from Fight Club, but I thought it was a good enough description of the Trace of Time clock. The clock is of an interesting design, made of stainless steel with a glass face. What makes it unique is that the user can write on it with a marker.

Yes, you could probably do that on a normal analog clock, but you would have to erase it yourself. In this case, the Trace of Time clock has a hand with an integrated eraser that will wipe away the appointment after it is over.

This is a 24-hour clock with one hand. I would imagine if you started your day filling out your appointments, you could watch all of them slowly vanish as you go throughout the day.

Of course, you might want to make certain you have those appointments somewhere. I mean, what if you miss one? How would you know after the time passed, unless you have some sort of photographic memory.

The Trace of Time clock is a fun concept design by Il-Gu Cha, but I could easily see it on the wall of every executive. Heck, you could have five for every day of the work week.
