I don't know why these companies are concentrating on HD video instead of good photo quality and camera features. If somebody wants to shoot HD videos, then he or she should go for HD camcorder, not for DSLR. I love my DSLR and I only use it for photos, not for videos.

This camera and its little sister the G1 will also use Canon FD or Leica rangefinder lenses with adapters. The magnification is 2x, so that a 50mm f2 Summicron lens will be a 100mm f2, but those are some great lenses. The great Canon FD 35mm f2.8TS Tilt Shift lens is now a 70mm tilt shift, automatic, digital lens. The two cameras have a setting that allows you to view a bright image even tho the lens is stopped down.
