I don't mind it for these reasons. And compared to a basic manual wheelchair of around $4K, it's cheap. ok, maybe not useful able bodied kids, but those with severe disabilities who want to follow their parents around, in a comfy chair, not a wheelchair, who could maybe learn independent mobility albeit in a chair, who might no be taught ‘learned immobility’ because they have to prove they can drive a powerchair before they are allowed to practice in one.
