Insect Repeller just in time for summer
by Edwin in Electronic Gadgets, Garden Gadgets, Home Gadgets
With summer having arrived, it is time to start the annual battle with pesky insects as well as other creepy crawlies who love to do nothing better than irritate you out of your skin by their mere presence in and around your home. Apart from keeping a huge collection of anteaters as well as spiders to capture those winged nemesis of yours, why not consider the Insect Repeller instead?
Insect Repeller is a small handheld environmentally-friendly gadget that plugs into any UK mains socket and emits an advanced high power variable ultrasonic wave and an electromagnetic wave to ward off unwanted pests and protect you and your home. Inaudible to humans and harmless to your pet cat and dog, the ultra sonic pest repeller consumes very little power and outdates messy traps and chemically-laden sprays. Once plugged in and switched on this 2-in-1 insect and rodent repeller protects 250 square meters, which is roughly the size of the average three bedroom home, giving you a healthy amount of breathing space between you and world’s critters.
Sounds like £12.95 well-spent if you’re going to bring home the Insect Repeller this summer.

In fairness, it did seem to work. Should be standard on all handsets imo.
Insect Repeller helps you identify insects Says:
May 26th, 2009 at 1:24 pm[...] Published by Maria Mihale, on May 26 2009, in the categories: Gadgets I love nature very much and I don’t refuse a chance to spend my time in open air, in places where trees are green and birds twitter all day long. But I hate insects. Not because I have something against these little creatures, but because I’m afraid of them. I hate them because they’re not so innofenssive as many of us would think. And summer seems to be the most favourable season for the pesky insects people hate (yeah, people, not only me), when they gather all together as if it were a special event. The worst thing is that they have a thing with the skin, and they attack it, they irritate it, turning into the worst nightmare ever. So, if you’d like to identify insects before they eat you alive, here you have the Insect Repeller to give you a helping hand. The device is designed to destroy every bug, spider or rodent that dares to invade your space, at the flick of a switch. “Insect Repeller is a smal handheld environmentally-friendly gadget that plugs into any UK mains socket and emits an advanced high power variable ultrasonic wave and an electromagnetic wave to ward off unwanted pests and protect you and your home”. An important advantage is that the device is inaudible to humans and does no harm to whatever pet you might have, such as a dog or a cat. In addition, it used a very small amount of power and it is able to protect approximately 250 square meters. The Insects Repeller costs £12.95. (Source: Coolest-Gadgets) [...]
