First of all, it was deisgned to receive signals from six different atomic clock radio broadcasts from all over the world, so that the user can enjoy the benefits of an infallible timekeeping. More than that, he/she won’t have to worry about setting the time or replacing its battery. Another advantage is the fact that this atomic solar watch is also able to automatically update itself, synchronizing with no more than six times during each day with the help of the “time signals broadcast by radio clocks located in the U.S., UK, Germany, Japan (two clocks) and China”. So, let’s now see how the watch works. First of all, you should select a home city. Based on the name of the city you provide, the watch will try to get its signal from the radio clock transmitter that is the nearest to the certain city. There are some photovoltaic cells placed in the watchface that are designed to capture the sunlight and then to convert this sunlight into power. This way the integrated battery is being powered and it will operate approximately seven months. On the other hand, the Worldwide Atomic Solar Watch can be set for the Daylight Saving Time, telling you the time for 48 different cities of the world. Other features include a 1/100th second stopwatch, a countdown timer and four alarms. As for the material the watch is made of, you should know it’s a durable resin resistant to shocks.
