[...] Published by Maria Mihale, on May 12 2009, in the categories: Uncategorized If you’re one of the millions of Star Trek fans out there, you probably already have all the Star Trek branded products that are available in the market, because this is what a genuine fan should do. When being like me, you don’t actually give a damn on such products and you think they’re all crap. But when you grew up with the Star Trek series and you still feel like being part of the Enterprise, you MUST not neglect something like the Star Trek USB Communicator Internet Phone, for example. Trying to keep pace with the competition, meaning the Star Wars industry, more and more Star Trek products appear in the spotlight. And this is what happened with this Internet Phone, which is being somehow re-released right now, in order to synchronize with the new Star Trek movie that is going to create sensation in the summer. This is just another VoIP device that is said to come equipped with plug and play feature, allowing the transfer of audio signal with a USB cable, an integrated microphone and earphone, an integrated speaker with 21 sound effects, an individual microphone mute button, a USB cable which is 6 foot long and has a volume switch, compatibility with Skype, MSN, AIM, Ichat and more and with operating systems such as Windows XP, Vista and Mac OS X 10.5. The phone measures 110 x 68 x 28 millimeters and weighs approximately 140 grams. And if you’re sick and tired with the Star Trek desktop themes that you know them all, then you can go grab this handset from Brando for $43. (Source: coolest-gadgets.com) [...]
