Relax people, don’t take everything so seriously. Ecologically irresponsible? How about all those landfills? are they “responsible”? How about all the plastic garbage you make from fast food, grocery bags and packaging and so on? Starving kiddies? Have you ever donated anything serious – like all your income that you don’t need in order not to starve yourself? So come on, this is just another gadget. Actually rather cool looking and if you live in a hot area – probably rather useful.

Meanwhile the kiddies starve in Africa.. I like my gadgets but sometimes it we really do waste our resources on the wrong stuff.

I hope this product never sees mass production.

Ugh, nevermind that expending energy to freeze your *garbage* is about as ecologically irresponsible as you can get.

If you’re going to bother with a garbage can that sucks up energy, why not just get one of those kitchen composters and put that energy to good use?
