Acer announces Veriton X270 series
Acer America has recently made an announcement concerning a new series of business desktop PCs – the Acer Veriton X270 series, that will make its way across North America. This new series will boast multi-core power and high data security in a compact design, helping users take advantage of the speed, flexibility and reliability in order to handle everyday demanding business applications. The Veriton X270 will take advantage of a wide range of Intel processors, including the venerable Intel Core 2 Duo, include high-performance Serial ATA hard disk technology and DDR2 memory for quick and efficient multi-tasking between email, spreadsheets and presentations. Just in case you need the extra punch for crisp and clear streaming media, there is always the addition of NVIDIA’s GeForce 7100 graphics with PureVideo HD technology.
According to Leila Axelle Robert, Acer Desktop Business Manager, “Our new Veriton X270 was engineered to meet the needs of today’s organizations that are expected to do more with less. Companies today require tighter security and more efficiency for a streamlined approach to business. The Veriton X270 is engineered to tackle multiple demanding applications with ease to increase worker productivity, a must in today’s market.”
The Veriton X270 desktop was specially built to be robust and comes with a sharply refined chassis design, making it blend in with just about any office environment well. The chassis itself is a compact 10 liter case, allowing one to maximize space within a dreary cube environment so that you have more places to put pictures of happy thoughts instead of being chained to your desk all week long, churning out report after report at the behest of your superior. Other features include a conveniently located power button on top of the chassis, a door-less optical disk drive for easy access, USB 2.0 ports on both front and rear of the case as well as nine convenient connections to printers, USB flash drives, VoIP phones, etc. An HDMI port allows you to interface with high definition devices for presentations via a single cable, while 5.1 channel high-definition audio has been integrated for added clarity when it comes to conference calls and other business audio demands. Prices start from $399 upwards.
