Bigfoot offers Killer Xeno PCI Express cards

by Edwin in Gaming Gadgets, PC Gadgets

Bigfoot is back with a couple more sequels to its Killer K1 Ethernet card – this time round, you get double the trouble with the Xeno Pro and Xeno Ultra PCI Express cards that will be powered by a new, more generalized Freescale processor. Apart from the obvious function of reducing network lag, it also makes room for the computer’s processor to handle other gaming tasks as it boasts hardware processing for selected dedicated VoIP clients in order to further reduce the system overhead from running voice chat simultaneously within a game. The standard Xeno Pro card will come with a 128MB buffer while the Xeno Ultra has double the amount at 256MB. The former will retail for $130 while the latter is going for $180, being released in April and May, respectively.
