What I've never understood is the obsession with four port USB hubs.

I'd rather have a single hub that has ten. I want to connect all my added-on devices to a single hub (keyboard, mouse, external HDD and DVD/CD, etc.) and hide it behind my computer. I don't remove or reconnect those things except when I'm moving, so I don't want to see them.

I want to free up my built-in USB ports for my Flash RAM devices (cards, MP3 player) so that I'm not reaching for flexible cords. I want to be able to reach for a firmly placed port to plug into.
