The Great Sleeping Bear

The Great Sleeping Bear

According to designer Eiko Ishizawa, this unusual sleeping bag was created to illicit a variety of different emotions including feelings of being eaten by a bear, being a bear as well understanding what it would be like to wear a bear skin. One thing for sure is this sleeping bag will get a few laughs on your next camping trip. Just be careful not to get shot by an overzealous hunter or worse, be violated by a bear.

The iChange: An iPhone Controlled Car

The iPhone already has the ability to tell you how to get from A to B, but now it will actually get you there. The iChange is the latest iPhone accessory… and it’s a car. The iChange doesn’t have a key slot or button to start-up its engine, but is controlled by your iPhone. Conductive wire glue is an excellent idea. Very useful.

Justin Says: February 27, 2009 at 12:20 pm

Baby Mop! Ha, I have seen this before somewhere, maybe a late night infomercial? Might as well put them to use!

Jabberwock Says: February 27, 2009 at 12:28 pm

Well, I once thought of the Harmony, but I decided otherwise… As the Junior is past crawling, I’d go with the conductive glue – he’s already interested in my RGB LED installation :)

Kate harrison Says: February 27, 2009 at 12:32 pm

Glue! Love it!!

Marr Says: February 27, 2009 at 12:51 pm

The next step after the Baby Mop would be a baby walker Roomba combination.

The iChange is the coolest of them all.

rockridder Says: February 27, 2009 at 1:47 pm

Um a touch screen built into the case of a CPU, rock on…

Jerry D. Says: February 27, 2009 at 1:56 pm

that wire glue looks really helpful

Drew Says: February 27, 2009 at 1:59 pm

Conductive wire glue has my vote! I’m ordering some now. The Shuttle PC case is pretty cool, but nothing earth-shattering, and the Oboe robot is just creepy in a “Grandma? Is that you?” kinda way.

Juergen Says: February 27, 2009 at 2:18 pm

The bear gets my vote. It definately will scare burglars away – just don’t use it during hunting season ;-)

Krysta Says: February 27, 2009 at 2:24 pm

The Baby Mop is just hilarious!

mark brown Says: February 27, 2009 at 2:24 pm

My grandmother has Alzheimer’s. I think this could potentially help people with the disease, plus robots are freaking cool.

Erica Says: February 27, 2009 at 2:31 pm

Baby mop. Hands down. Puts a whole new meaning to child labor.

cara c Says: February 27, 2009 at 2:33 pm

i can’t tell if the baby mop is a joke or not, but either way it is both hilarious and… utilitarian?

matt Says: February 27, 2009 at 2:41 pm

dude that sleeping bag is awesome

tomaz Says: February 27, 2009 at 2:50 pm

i like the iphone car idea! now you can lean back and let the iphone do the job :) awesome :)

SantaJim Says: February 27, 2009 at 2:53 pm

Conductive Glue is the coolest idea yet. Great for those small things you need to do but don’t want to get out the soldering iron or something that can’t take the heat.

Thyago Says: February 27, 2009 at 3:03 pm

Conductive Wire Glue looks interessing and its cheap. I’m ordering it now.

John Says: February 27, 2009 at 3:28 pm

I don’t know if the baby mop is real, but it is hilarious.

Jenna Says: February 27, 2009 at 3:46 pm

The fauna sauna seems like a great, and inexpensive, way to keep your pet warm.

RoofusEat Says: February 27, 2009 at 4:47 pm

I’m totally getting my niece that baby mop. I can’t wait to see how my brother and sister in law likes it.

Jose Joaquin Villaplana Juan Says: February 27, 2009 at 4:49 pm

I think the best gadget is the “Conductive Wire Glue” because with it you can glue two things that one of them goes with electricity and it will work, just with gluing it.

Picasso Says: February 27, 2009 at 6:23 pm

I want that bed for my little princess because she shivers when it gets cold and I don’t like to see my baby shiver from coldness.

Helard Says: February 27, 2009 at 7:32 pm

The iChange for sure!!; I’m imagine just out the road without touching the steering wheel!!.

jcarey Says: February 27, 2009 at 7:38 pm

I’m voting for the wire glue. Huh, slow week for gadgets.

Maxxx Says: February 28, 2009 at 12:22 am

The remote, not doubt! Although I might have to update my TV and DVD too to match!

Selene M. Says: February 28, 2009 at 9:22 am

I voted for the Harmony 1100 Advanced Universal Remote Control.

Deen Says: February 28, 2009 at 9:01 pm

A universal remote you can sink your teeth into.

Adam Says: March 2, 2009 at 1:47 pm

Definitely the conductive glue. Soldering is such a pain. Just imagine the cable TV scrammles I coulda been making back in the day!

Clay Says: March 5, 2009 at 8:17 pm

Baby mop? Sweet!

Achmed Says: March 5, 2009 at 8:20 pm

Well… Going to have to agree with Adam on this one. As a technician, this could be very nice!

Selene M. Says: March 5, 2009 at 9:19 pm

The wire glue because you can repair wires with using heat.
