The winner of last week’s coolest gadget competition is the Coffee Printer – Uses Spent Grounds for Ink.

From the Greener Gadgets Design Contest, this one surfaces; printer that uses your own spent grounds as an ink source. Drop the grounds in, insert paper, and move the lever back and forth over the paper to make the image/text.

Innovative, but not sure what to think – Should I use French roast or City Roast today in the printer cartridge?

Congrats again to Single Serve Expresso.

In second place we have the Internet car radio.

This internet car radio brings thousands of radio stations from all over the world to your car stereo and lets you access your phone, address book and sat nav, Knight Rider-style.

Finally in third place comes the Ice Invaders Ice Tray Makes Space Invaders Ice Cubes.

If you have ever felt inclined to celebrate your love of retro gaming with a stiff drink, you may get a chance this spring, when the Ice Invaders ice cube tray is released. Sure there are plenty of novelty ice molds out there, but something tells me that these are going to be a winner.
