Ice Invaders Ice Tray Makes Space Invaders Ice Cubes
If you have ever felt inclined to celebrate your love of retro gaming with a stiff drink, you may get a chance this spring, when the Ice Invaders ice cube tray is released. Sure there are plenty of novelty ice molds out there, but something tells me that these are going to be a winner.

Cowon D2 compact digital media player
Talk about tiny, this mini digital media system is small enough to fit in your hand but also boasts top quality images and audio, instead of the constant static that we’ve come to expect from a compact media player. For two and a half hours of charge time you’ll get a whopping 52 hours of music playback or 10 hours of video. That’s enough for the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Cowan D2 has 4GB of on-board memory and an SD slot for more memory for all of your favourite songs and videos.

Coffee Printer – Uses Spent Grounds for Ink
From the Greener Gadgets Design Contest, this one surfaces; printer that uses your own spent grounds as an ink source. Drop the grounds in, insert paper, and move the lever back and forth over the paper to make the image/text.
Innovative, but not sure what to think – Should I use French roast or City Roast today in the printer cartridge?

Electric Banana Eraser
Here’s a funky little item that will surely turn some heads. How many times have you found yourself rubbing away with your old eraser thinking, “This is boring!” — now even erasing can be fun with this wacky electric banana eraser that rubs out pencil faster than you can imagine, thanks to its vibrator action that makes the retractable eraser work great.

I like the idea of the coffee printer, but I thought gadgets on this comp had to be beyond design stage and able to be purchased in shops…

The coffee printer printer sounds cool but, Space Invaders ice cubes have to rule over a concept project.

sorry to say, this times coverage of which are the coolests of gadgets was quite sad to say the least. I think you think about what needs to be focused upon, or maybe I have assumed wrong objectives…because what you listed was not really the coolest..

Just think about how funny it should be to have your own Space Invaders ice “cubes”. Just call some friends to a gamming party and show some of these. Awsome sauce.
