Rubik’s 360 promises hours of frustrating fun

Like most other kids, at some point during my childhood I owned a Rubik’s Cube. That thing frustrated me for hours on end. Finally after weeks of working at it, I figured out the trick to solving it. Well now Professor Erno Rubik has created a new contraption that looks even more confusing than his cube.
So what is this new spherical puzzle called? Why the Rubik’s 360 of course! (What, did you expect it to be called something lame like ‘Rubik’s Sphere’?) The object of the puzzle is to get six different colored balls into their respective holes within the larger sphere. This is done by shaking the ball and moving it around. It sounds like this is a game of skill, more than a mental challenge. It’s due out later this year, but I’m still wondering how I’m supposed to solve this thing since it doesn’t have any stickers to remove.

I still haven’t managed to finish the cube without peeling the stickers off and sticking them back on in the right place.

Lame. You won’t see me even trying it not even on my death bed. Some things in life I can do without and it won’t effect my happiness if I tried it or not- this is one of those things.

No stickers and also its not possible to take it apart and put it back together to solve it. I’ve got some more detailed explanations of how the Rubik 360 works on my blog.
In addition, I today posted several Rubik 360 videos.
