The Daylight Solar Lamp

by Ally in Eco Gadgets, Garden Gadgets, Home Gadgets

If you’re into quirky lighting, you’ll love this solar light. The Daylight looks like a normal glowing light shaped like a lamp during the night. Yet when you want it to charge during the day you flip it over so that the solar panel is exposed. These brightly colored lamps would brighten up any home or patio. They’ll work for indoors or outdoors and you’ll never have to deal with changing light bulbs or batteries, plus there are of course no wires to worry about.

When flipped over in the charging position it’s meant to look more like a potted plant. Which it doesn’t so much, but it’s still an interesting look. Each light is only 34cm tall by 15.5cm in diameter. The light varies as to how long it takes to charge all depending on if it’s inside or outside as well as depending on the season. It comes in white, orange and green and is waterproof. It is a bit pricey though, which is bad since it is such a small light. If you were wanting to light a large area outdoors with these it’s going to cost you quite a bit. You can purchase these for £80.50 on Made in Design.

A bit pricey? You can say that again! They do look quite nice but I don’t think I’ll be investing in one.

[...] The Daylight Solar Lamp will make sure that you won’t have to change the light bulbs or batteries anymore. It gets its power directly from the sun and  in order to charge it just simply flip it over during the day so that the solar panel is exposed thus turning the light into energy. This waterproof solar lamp also works for both indoors and outdoors and comes in three different colors: white, orange and green. Priced at £80.50. [CoolestGadgets] [...]
