the problem with built in wireless charging is that there basically is no standard.
therefor, its hard to build the feature into devices right now…

if it can really work, wireless charging gets my vote.

Chumby is very interesting, I think I might get one myself as a bedroom unit (for music, news, etc.).

Wireless charging is one of the most across-the-board useful new technologies, as it would be useful across many types of devices.

wireless charging will be very useful if it works well, hopefully it wont have any problems, though that may just be wishful thinking.

The Powermat was the only thing in the list where I thought to myself “COOL! I want, NO, I need one those” and I know a ton of people I could buy that for as gifts.

Wireless charging is the best… and what’s better about it is that you can charge multiple items contemporarily using up only one plug, The car thing is awesome too! Imagine 4 people have mobiles in their pockets while on a highway… They all get charged up

Wireless charging would eliminate all the hassle of having multiple chargers and do the work comfortably. Surely it will be standard in the becoming near future.

Wireless charging would definitely help cut down on wire clutter.

None of the gadgets look super interesting, but Chumby would be on the top of this list.
Charging station looks cool, but seems that it would be an energy hog.
Naids Says: January 19, 2009 at 10:57 pm
The wireless charging unit is DEFINITELY the one… once its commercially common, I am sure we will be seeing many many appplications such as in cars, bikes etc.
Keep on with the goodwork c-g!!

Wireless charging has potential. They will have to build the technology into devices instead of requiring you to jacket up your devices with an adapter.
