A-Data has just announced the availability of its XPG Dual SSD 3.5” RAID Enclosure that offers one the option to use a couple of 2.5” SATA SSDs and/or HDDs mounted onto a solitary standard 3.5” form factor drive cage. One of the main benefits of this setup allows the multifunctional RAID enclosure to function as two separate drives, letting a redundant drive protect against drive failure. Alternatively, you can combine them to be a high-performance drive. These configurations can be set via the hardware DIP switch located behind the unit or using the included software utility.
