Tire pressure caps keep you informed

by Edwin in Vehicle Gadgets

All vehicle owners should make sure that their tires are properly inflated (and I don’t mean the spare tire around your waist that’s hanging downwards) if they have maximum mileage and optimal road safety on their minds. Unfortunately, most people don’t take the trouble to check their tire pressures regularly, which results in faster wear and tear on their wheels that could compromise road safety as well. With these special pressure valve caps, you can check your tire pressures at a glance without having to use those pesky tire pressure gages. Available in 32 psi and 36 psi color-coded caps, they will retail for $7.98 each.

cool gadget indeed. But why oh why Coolest-gadgets.com keep posting really old gadgets? I’ve been using this gadget for the past 3 years. They are widely available from WalMart.

Hi David,

Sometimes there are overlaps and repeats due to the humongous back catalog of gizmos, and coupled with our ailing memory, sometimes such things happen. Thanks for being a reader at CG, and we will take this opportunity to kick ourselves in the pants to serve you better in the future :)

Happy holidays!

that’s fine, it’s nice for me to also “reminisce” and have a “feel-good” feeling knowing the gadgets I’m using are still considered as “coolest-gadgets” :)

Great site, btw, I’ve been buying more and more gadgets I found from reading this site’s posts!!!

Mine started to indicate low pressure when it was too late. I have even both 32 and 36 PSI model. Normal pressure for my car is 32.

Ozvena: At least it works, eh ;)

Too late. If they make 40SPI model I buy it as It may start showing low pressure around 30PSI and bellow.

funny reading these posts because although my first set of caps “died” after a month, I’m still using my second set for almost the full 3 years now.
