Last week’s CGOTW and $50 Winners are…

by Al in Coolest Gadget of the Week, Gadget Competitions

The winner of last week’s coolest gadget competition is the Peanut butter machine.

The Peanut Butter Machine allows you to create your own buttery peanutness at home! Just add peanuts! And it will take care of the crunchy/smooth debate too – just pick which kind you like and it’ll deliver it in minutes. You can use any kind of shell nut so you can create your own nutty buttery mixtures and best of all, you’ll know exactly what’s going in them – no additives or other nasties.

Congrats again to Decide What to Buy.

Mystical Fire
In second place we have the Mystical Fire.

Conjuring a light show in an open fire is no longer the realm of just wizards. Mystical Fire powder contains the same chemicals found in fireworks, without the explosives. Throw 1-3 packets of powder on any indoor/outdoor fire, stand back and enjoy the dazzling light show.

Neuros OS Media Recorder
Finally in third place comes the Neuros OS Media Recorder.

Many of us have a mix of footage from DVDs, online, video cameras and embarrassingly, on VHS tapes. Well, this gadget will create a digital archive of all of your movies- legally! The Neuros OSD Media Recorder will encode video and audio for playback on devices such as laptops and iPods. Not only is it a back up in case your DVD set gets stolen, lost or scratched but you can now watch your movies on a range of different mediums.

Thank you to everybody who voted, submitted, commented or told a friend. The randomly drawn winners of the $50 Amazon vouchers are:

Voting and commenting: Jack M (Neuros OS sounds nice. Is there a size capacity?)

Telling a friend: Jason (who told Abigail)

Thanks again everybody and good luck with the next CGOTW contest on Friday.

That peanut butter machine would be pretty cool. My kids love PB&J sandwiches so it would be interesting to taste the difference between store bought and this. I bet peanut butter cookies made from this would be pretty awesome, too.

Hi Guys,

It was nice to watch this contest develop over the course of last week. The PB machine would make a nice practical gadget for the kitchen.

Congratulations again to “Decide What to Buy”

Mike

@Mike – Totally agree, it was very close between the top 3 with the lead changing a number of times, just goes to prove we have sweet tooth readers.

Thanks Mike. That fire powder looks pretty awesome too. I’ll definitely be taking it along on camping trips.
