		<description>Long ago, I used to have a Sony &quot;Sports&quot; FM/AM clip-radio with solar charging feature.  You can either use a single &quot;AAA&quot; battery or the built-in rechargable battery charged via built-in solar panel.

Works well enough but I once left it in the hot sun too long and the plastics of the radio warped and melted in places.  Although it still works, the case is no longer water resistant due to gaps that opened up.

I wonder how much better is this gadget&#039;s heat resistance?</description>
