Cardboard iPhone 3G dock

by Edwin in DIY Gadgets, iPod gadgets

Want to do your bit for the environment, but have no idea where to start? Well, here’s one – if you own an iPhone 3G but lack a dock, you can always head on here to print it out in PDF format (A4 size, of course), place it on a piece of durable cardboard and start cutting it out with a pair of sharp scissors or a craft knife and voila – you have your very own DIY cardboard iPhone dock. It is highly recommended to use a 270gsm cardboard for best effect, and needless to say this iPhone dock is just like its electronic counterpart – both aren’t waterproof, although the former can be left out to dry and reused in the event of an accidental spill while you’ll need to buy a new one with the latter.

That’s pretty cool, Edwin. A real DIY-er. From one die-line kinda guy to another, sweet job! I’m going to pop around to your site(s) to check them out.
