USB Key-pressed X’mas Tree
Christmas is still a long, long way off – but that doesn’t mean you can’t be prepared to meet the oncoming holiday season, right? Brando has the USB Key-pressed X’mas Tree that is pretty self-explanatory – the faster you type, the more bulbs on this thing lights up. Sorry, there are no Easter eggs available in this USB gadget, so breaking the world’s speed typing record won’t result in a special lighting arrangement or anything of that sort. Each USB Key-pressed X’mas Tree comes with 25 LEDs and will retail for $19. I guess bosses who get this for their employees might secretly want to check on whether they’re typing their reports like good peons do, or are they busy surfing using Google’s incognito window.

What an excellent idea – what would be even better if certain words or phrases made certain patterns – or even if it would work better when you spelt things correctly…

The video of this shows that the lights come on faster the faster you type so it is sort of an evil gift to see how fast your secretary is typing away.
