VTech Communications, Inc. has just announced a whole slew of new cordless phone bundles that will come with DECT 6.0 technology without having you break the bank. For the uninitiated,DECT-enabled systems have been proven to deliver superior sound quality, range and security, and are slowly but surely taking over the role of a regular house phone in homes these days. The bundles available are the three-handset CS6129-31/CS6128-31/CS6129-32, the four-handset CS6129-41 and five-handset CS6129-54. All of them need only a single phone jack, so there is no need to go around renovating your pad.

Features found in all those bundles include a digital answering system, caller ID/call waiting and speakerphone in each handset. Not only that, the bundled DECT 6.0 configuration enables multiple handsets to be “in use” simultaneously, letting users hold conference calls, transfer calls (just like in the office, eh?) and even function as an intercom between handsets.
