Powerline Stereo Audio System

September 5th, 2008 by Edwin in Audio/Video Gadgets, Home Gadgets

Arkados and IOGEAR have collaborated to bring a multi-room home audio system - the Powerline Stereo Audio System, to the masses. This model is able to hook up to an iPod directly (other compatible audio sources will do as well), creating whole-house music in an instant.

The Powerline Stereo Audio System uses existing electrical lines within the home to stream music to any room, creating a full-house multimedia network without the need for expensive audio cable installation. Arkados’ HomePlug powerline technology and its Direct-to-Speaker software provide reliable connectivity and the highest quality digital sound from the audio source to the speakers for the system.

It will retail for $379.95 - pretty pricey if you ask me.
