Giant SNES controller works like a charm

by Edwin in Gaming Gadgets

The SNES truly took the world by storm, and it saved Nintendo’s derriere when it came to the 16-bit wars with Sega’s MegaDrive. Many people have fond memories of the SNES controller, so after a more than a decade and half, the folks at SCAD Inc. have come up with a tribute to this controller by releasing a giant-sized version that not only looks great, but works great. All the buttons are fully functional, connected directly to the innards of an actual SNES controller. It would be interesting to note how many people does it take to play with this controller.

You’d need two people, or one person with long arms and stamina. Maybe it’s been made for Mark Phelps?

The only thing better would be a really weeny SNES to go with it - they’ve done it with a NES (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/22/entire-nes-squeezed-into-nes-cartridge-case/) they just need to go one step better.
