M400 Skycar: Fly me to the moon… or to work will do just fine
The M400 Skycar is the first feasible, personally affordable personal vertical take off and landing vehicle. In other words, it’s a flying car! It’s similar to another concept featured on Gaj-it, but much cooler in terms of looks, speed, and usability. It features storage for your groceries and is up to three times faster than any light helicopter today.

Digital pasta timer spoon
If you need help in the kitchen department, this might be the answer. Just key in the type of pasta you’re cooking, its weight and how you like your pasta done and it’ll give you a perfect plate of pasta every time.

ColorRight – Custom White Balance Gets Easy
I cannot express the simplicity and accuracy of this device enough. For those of you who never use custom white balance, the “wow” factor you get out of your first image will blow you away. For those of you that use a white card or try to snap your white balance off some guy’s white t-shirt, I’m sure that you can see the potential that ColorRight could have in your shooting.

Takoyaki aka Octopus Ball Maker
Anyone who visits the Osaka area knows takoyaki, the fluffy octopus balls made on the streets and sold at festivals. Good Takoyaki is a source of pride, and it’s difficult to make on your own, but the Takoyaki Factory Ton Ton just makes it look so easy!

Geeky Furniture – The Periodic Coffee Table
The Periodic Coffee table measures 4 ft x 2.5 ft x 16 inches, and if features all the 92 natural elements as well as all of the man made elements actually built in to the table.
Don’t worry though, all the dangerous ones are marked by a radioactive symbol, and according to the manufacturer they are totally safe.

Cell Phone Jammer
I hate being stuck on a train when some idiot is yelling down a phone (for some reason callers need to shout when in confined public spaces), this nifty gadget fixes that, the Portable Cell Phone Jammer. Now if only they’d make one to work with MP3 players.

All my childhood dreams can come true with my very own M400 Skycar. If nothing else, it is a pretty awesome car/plane/thing to look at.

Think of the fun you could have with the cell phone jammer! And finally, a quiet movie-viewing experience when people can no longer chat/text during the film!

Cellphone Jammer! I’d turn it on at every movie theatre!

I love what the little cell phone jammer can do. A quiet dinner with my family when I go to Mom’s without my little sister texting and talking at the table. Perfect.

I think the sky car is the coolest, because you can play leap frog with them. That’s cool.
Mike Constantine Says: August 15, 2008 at 8:25 am
Not a big pasta guy, but I could see myself using this if I were.
Jason Says: August 15, 2008 at 8:57 am
The cell phone jammer! What fun.
Jen Says: August 15, 2008 at 9:29 am
Ohh… tough one. The Periodic Elements table is very cool, but I couldn’t see myself actually getting one. The pasta timer, on the other hand… priceless. There’s weeks I live on pasta, and the one thing I absolutely hate is sitting around and checking them every 2 minutes.

I think the timer spoon and periodic coffee table are great ideas but the flying car is certainly cool. Certainly is a tough one to call this week.
Jen Says: August 15, 2008 at 9:53 am
The car is cool indeed, but honestly I’d be a bit scared to get in one yet. I’ll wait until the technology progresses a bit. And until then, I need to eat!

I voted for the skycar. Why? It’s a *flying car*! Nuff said!
Saf Says: August 15, 2008 at 2:04 pm
It’s going to be close one this week. The Cell Phone Jammer is very cool but I’m rooting for the M400 skycar Imagine…all those futuristic movies about flying cars could actually become reality in a couple of years time!
Drew Says: August 15, 2008 at 4:13 pm
Coolest gadget? The M400 Skycar. Gadget I want most? Definitely the Periodic Table!

it’s got to be the pasta timer. Pasta has to be the most annoying thing to cook. if only they’d make one for rice
Neagle Says: August 16, 2008 at 9:43 am
It’s a skycar. How can anything on this list compete with that? It would take at least a month to get the Jetsons intro theme song out of my head.
Krysta Says: August 17, 2008 at 8:45 am
Pasta cooked to perfection…need I say more?
Doug Says: August 17, 2008 at 10:48 am
Everywhere I go,insensitive people talking, talking, droning on.Much ado about nothing.Talking to distraction and while driving and at the movies. But,the worst of all are those clods talking on fonz in the library and not in hushed tones.I go there for solace not to listen to horseshit!!

I remember all those obnoxious AT&T commercials about being the phone company with the least dropped calls. Now With my level of maturity, which is equivalent too a seven year old with a BB gun, I would have to go with the cell phone jammer. I would like the skycar, but while a major improvement, to me it seem like an improved version of a parasail car. also, the way cell phones seem to be such a everyday product instead of a convenience, it would be kind of nice just to see people without one.
Dan Says: August 18, 2008 at 6:11 pm
Definitely the cell phone jammer. you could have so much fun with that. Especially around teenagers.

My vote is for the cell phone jammer. This would be great for anyone that has to ride the train into the city or any other close quarters public transportation. You would just have to conceal your chuckles as the person was puzzled over their drop calls.
They should have a commercial for this where it shoots a laser beam out and takes down the entire crowd from the Verizon network. Can you hear me now?
