iMovie PMP not from Apple, but it still amazingly cool

by James

If anyone’s in Beijing for the Games, can you please pick me up one of these? The Ramos iMovie PMP player, though not a Cupertino original, still looks to be one of the best personal media players on the market.

With the business end of this media player being a 4.3 inch widescreen WQVGA display, the RamoMovie (at least that won’t get you sued) can play just about any video format under the sun, but specifically RMVB, AVI, FLV, WMV, MPG, MP4, DAT, and 3GP formats. It also has a built in MP3 player and photo slideshow capability, but the real kicker is Not only that, it’s TV out with stereo speakers built in. Wow. All that and a bag of chips!

The Ramos iMovie is available in three models- the 32GB is about 1499 yuan ($219), the 16GB is 999 yuan ($145), and the 8GB runs for 699 yuan ($102).

Like I said … anyone at the Beijing Games wanna get me one?

The Archos 605 WiFi is already available in the U.S. so there is no need to travel to Beijing for this inferior product.

The Archos 605 WiFi blows the pants off of any other PMP out there! http://www.archos.com
