The brainwave interface is most definitely a reality. The game box manufacturers have been playing with prototypes for some time now. I saw one demonstrated on TV here in Australia just 2 nights ago. Impressive stuff, and it has vastly further reaching applications than just game consoles. The technology is already being used to help disabled people to communicate.
