IOGEAR releases GearJuice
by Edwin in Electronic Gadgets
IOGEAR has been churning out some pretty handy peripherals in the past, and it doesn’t look as though its track record will end anytime soon with the recently introduced GearJuice – Rescue Charger. This unique device is an ultra portable, light-weight emergency power source that will definitely come in handy should . The device operates on one AA battery, providing an instant energy charge no matter which part of the earth you’re at at the moment. The GearJuice – Rescue Charger can not only help you get that all important phone call through, it is also capable of powering other devices whenever juice runs dangerously low with nary a power outlet in sight.
Granted, it won’t be able to offer the cell phone anything more than 15 minutes of talk time and usage, but I think that should be ample time for you to tie up whatever conversation you’re having at that moment. With the long Memorial Day weekend coming up, research from the American Automobile Association (AAA) shows that more than 37 million Americans will travel more than 50 miles this upcoming Memorial Day holiday for three-day weekend getaways, which makes it all the more important to have a car charger of sorts, or the Rescue Charger if you have more than a cell phone to power up on-the-go.
According to Miranda Su, executive vice president of IOGEAR, “No one wants to be left stranded in the forest or on a mountain top with a dead mobile device if a critical situation occurs. Our GearJuice – Rescue Charger solves this problem, ensuring consumers never have to worry about losing the ability to get in touch when necessary.” This neat device is readily available from major catalog, online resellers and selected retail outlets, with an asking price of just $11.99.
