Acer enters gaming line

Acer is boldly entering the area where Alienware is dominant – the gaming arena. It will attempt to wrestle away some market share where high end performance PCs are concerned by launching its Aspire Predator PC range. So far from the specifications received (which you will be able to check out after the jump), the Predator line ain’t half bad, boasting a decent looking chassis at competitive prices that will definitely give your your money’s worth. There is just one lone Predator PC at this point in time – the Aspire Predator G7700, but that doesn’t mean it cannot be configured according to your liking. You will be able to choose from Sniper, Trooper, Crusher and Eliminator models, where they will come with superior components compared to the previous model along with a higher price tag.

Well, I would say they’re extremely beefy machines, but seriously speaking I would prefer console gaming at my age (nearing the big three 0) since there isn’t much to worry about in terms of hardware upgrades, while I would be fine with scaled down graphics on my PC when running Direct X 10 games. I suppose teens tend to be more enthusiastic about who’s PC has more framerates, but that competitiveness has already died within me quite a while back.
