Pencil Case Ring Straps A Writing Utensil To Your Limbs

To be totally honest, I don’t know how many people are still working with paper. There are surely a lot of you out there who haven’t made the jump to being totally paperless. And that’s understandable. Being all digital can be an expensive proposition. I can’t even remember the last time I felt the tip of a pencil stabbing my thigh from within my pocket.
Ahh, nostalgia, nostalgia. I can’t help but miss the feel of writing notes in my notebook with a plain old number two pencils. But I definitly don’t miss the old stabbing of the lead tips into my leg. The Pencil Case Ring concept takes the pencil out of your pocket, and places it right on your hand at all times, worn on your finger next to your wedding ring.
Part of the H.I.T. (Holon Institute of Technology) Next Exit Exhibition in Tel Aviv, Israel, the Pencil Case Ring places a writing utensil and an eraser on two separate rings which can be worn with geeky pride as you walk around jotting mysterious notes in your Moleskine.
While I’m all for the integration of the paperless age, there are some methods that will die hard. Using a pencil and paper is so ingrained in society that it won’t be a change we’ll see happen drastically. But at least we can save our poor thighs from being stabbed, as well as saving some pencils from being cracked in two.

Now that is funny; “paperless.” I contract at a large tech manufacturing company and they use more paper then a socialist bureaucracy.

Hi
nice gadget!
Regarding paperless life I think that we are far away from having a really paperless life.
I think that it will be great to nature if we can reach that – this is the reason I developed 42Tags which is an application which is used for scan and archive of documents (video – http://www.42tags.com/video.htm)
