Sony BDZ-A70 Blu-ray recorder plays nice with Walkman, PSP

walkman-bluray.jpgSony’s new BDZ-A70 Blu-ray recorder targets folks who were disappointed when the recently released PS3 firmware actually lacked the Blu-ray transfer feature that was seen to be a long time coming, since it is now able to record TV as well as transfer the recorded shows directly onto a PSP or Sony Walkman, depending on the type of portable entertainment system you prefer to tote around. It takes approximately 3 minutes to transfer an hour’s worth of recorded TV but the continued exclusivity held by Sony when it comes to their devices interacting only with one another is a big turn off point for me. The Sony BDZ-A70 Blu-ray recorder has been slated with an April 30th release in Japan for approximately $1,670.
