Second generation Eee PC to hit Taiwan

April 9th, 2008 by Edwin in PC Gadgets

eee-pc-2ndgen.jpgThe first generation of Asus’ Eee PCs did some gangbusters sales to date, and Asus is hoping to follow that success with the second generation of the Eee PC. While it will not utilize the latest Intel Atom processor in a bid to get it out onto the market before other rivals (HP and Acer in particular), it still ain’t no slouch as Intel’s dual core ULV processors aren’t exactly old geezers where processors are concerned. For those who prefer to rock on with an Atom-powered processor, you will have to wait until June when Acer and HP will roll out their notebooks. things come to those who wait, after all, but are you willing to?
