I am planning on getting a lipstick stun gun to use while I am walking my dog. I plan on holding it in my hand & sometimes in my pocket. I would never have even thougt to keep this in my purse like some of your silly comments suggest. I was wondering though if anyone had an opinion on whether this would work on a dog. I would like to carry something that could protect me from a person or a dog. My dog was attacked by a pit bull a few months ago while we were on a walk and it would've been nice to have something then.

This is a great idea in my opinion the smallness is convenient who says you should carry it in your purse maybe in your coat pocket so you know where it is incase of an attack. I think all the people that are giving the excuse of finding it in your purse is dumb cause you should always be prepared at all times people never know when they are getting attacked so my advice is to put it somewhere you know you can reach it or when walking jogging by yourself carry it in your hands after all it is small and less noticeable then carrying pepper spray or a bigger stunn gun.

I can see it now. She says, "Stop, can you give me a second to freshen up? I always like to look my best when I'm brutally attacked."

If you are worried about getting to the device in time, its not the product's fault. You may as well get a regular stun gun or pepper spray. If you are going to carry a weapon in the bottom of your purse don't bother.
The beauty of this item is that its disguised to look like something else. If somebody needs discouragement the lady can conceal her intentions until its time to spring the trap. Having the element of surprise on your side is a key element to winning any battle (ask any cop or military person).
