Amazon improves Latin Music Store
In an effort to gain more market share on the world of “selling music online”, Amazon has made a couple of changes (for the better) on their Latin store.
Maybe this move is somehow related to the recent announcement, regarding Apple being the number 1 music retailer.
Still, Amazon has a long journey to be on the top, because during January they were on the 4th place of music retailers on the US with 6%, while Apple had 19%. They still need to get by Wal-Mart and BestBuy, which are in second and third respectively.
What kind of improvements were made/will be made to their Latin Music Store? Adding more descriptions in Spanish and English, growing 10% in terms of more music, and more.
Microsoft tries (to buy Yahoo) again
Steve Balmer, from Microsoft, also known as the CEO that goes crazy on stage as can be seen on this video, made a “smart” proposition to Yahoo this past Saturday, it can be resumed to this: accept our offer of $42 billion, or we will decrease it the next time, because Yahoo’s share is going down, and the Internet stock market is not good either.
Yahoo replied in fashion, saying they are only interested in a better offer, and all those billions aren’t enough.
There are 3 weeks left on the deadline set by Microsoft, what do you think will happen?
