Generacion Y: Yoani Sanchez Blog Blocked from Cuba
The Cuban Internet Police has blocked Generacion Y, one of the top blogs on Cuba that belongs to Yoani Sanchez.
The reason for the blocking is pretty obvious: criticizing the new big boss of Cuba – Raul Castro.
Censorship is acting up on the internet, and users from Cuba only get an error message instead of being able to normally visit “Generacion Y” and read the content. But since we’re talking about the internet, there is always a way to overcome the problem.
In this case, I think one of the solutions is to use the RSS reader. Don’t know if it actually works, but it is worth a try. Like Yoani said during an interview: “anyone with a bit of computer skills knows how to get around them”.
If you’re wondering how popular is Generation Y, take in consideration that during last month (February) it had 1.2 million hits.

YouTube 2007 Video Awards
Last Friday was the day YouTube announced the winners of the 2007 video awards. There are 12 in total, separated by categories such as adorable, commentary, eyewitness, creative, inspirational, music, sports, and others.
One of the best videos I’ve ever seen is the winner of the Eyewitness category, named “Battle at Kruger”. Strangely enough, I’ve been at the Kruger Park a few years ago, but sadly didn’t get to see any of the action that the video shows.
The Adorable winner is also known as Laughing Baby, which received 25% of the votes in its category.
Check all the videos at YouTube 2007 Video Awards, and tell us which one is your favorite.
