"I would highly recommend to the makers of this innovative product to make it completely wireless, but I’m sure that is more difficult that it sounds."

Or not so difficult. I've used an RF (NOT optical link, why worry about pointing and keeping a clear path?) keyboard and mouse for several years, and it had to be cheap. The keyboard is still using the first set of batteries since it only generates a signal when keying, though the mouse chews up four AA batteries in about 5 weeks (unless you remove the batteries when not in use) - acceptable, but not great, consider rechargeables.

As to the board-on-a-box, well... Cute, but is it practical?

R U SReUS?

"I believe the PS2 actually refers to the type of connectors needed to make the product work, the PS/2."

That undermines your credibility tremendously. You write for the PC Gadgets section...

And what about USB, do you know what USB stands for?
