Kingston Data Traveler Micro Reader

I tend to have a fancy phone, mostly because I do a lot of work on the road, and thus need all of the extra features I can get. Naturally, my phone has a microSD slot for storing music, pictures, video and other data. The only issue I have with using it is that I also have to carry around my microSD to SD card adapter, which is just one more thing to hassle with. However, this little USB drive from Kingston might just be what I need.

The Data Traveler Micro Reader looks just like any ordinary flash drive, but there’s more than meets the eye. On the top of the unit there is actually a small hatch that opens up to reveal a card reader for microSD and Memory Stick Micro cards. Now that’s what I call handy.

While you’ll pay a little bit extra for this luxury, I’m sure it would be well worth it. The flash drive comes in flavors of 1GB, 2GB and 4GB and will set you back either $19.25, $28.25 or $42.00.
