Sony needs to modify its business plan to embrace user mods and develop expandable platforms if they want to emerge as an industry leader. While it doesn't possess the hardware that was included with the earlier versions of the PS3, there is some limited backwards compatibility. I think Sony would have been better off spending the extra money on the hardware, as the software solution is poor at best. Actually, you’re both right.
