LED lighting that can be flattened

January 18th, 2008 by Edwin in Conceptual Gadgets, Home Gadgets

eureka-led-lamp.jpgCheck out these lighting fixtures that are extremely minimal in nature, and was specially designed to be shipped flat like a postcard. They are actually a laser-cut sheet of aluminum complete with an integrated LED illumination source that is powered by a single button battery, certainly not something you can find at any home improvement store nearby. Designed by Dutch designer Sander Mulder, the Eureka Lamp as it is known can be mailed in an envelope. Too bad this is but a prototype concept at time of publishing - it would certainly be nice to see it being fleshed out at a factory somewhere in this world.
