I know it is a little bit early to start shopping for Valentine’s Day, but hey – you can never be too sure, especially in this day and age when you might just get swamped with too much work at the last minute to have enough time to pick up a present for your other half. AT&T wants to make sure you have no problems with your partner come February 14th, offering a trio of handsets that will be extremely hard for your wallet to resist. The three red colored cell phones on offer are the LG Shine, the Samsung BlackJack II and the BlackBerry Curve 8310. These three can’t be found on any other carrier since they remain exclusive to AT&T, and this time you get to kickstart Valentine’s with plenty of romantic red.

According to Andy Wilson, vice president of National Marketing for AT&T’s wireless unit, “Chocolates and flowers are standby gifts for Valentine’s Day, but this year we’re spicing things up by offering terrific deals for those who want to go with something different. These eye-catching red devices are available at a great promotional price, and with unlimited Mobile to Mobile calling and unlimited text messaging plans, it’s easy and affordable for consumers to stay connected with loved ones.”

These handsets aren’t too shabby either, and I would like to have the BlackJack II the most out of the lot. Here’s a little bit of information to jog your memory – the red LG Shine is a slider handset that comes with a 2.2″ mirror LCD display, pre-loaded with AT&T’s Video Share, Mobile Banking and AT&T Mobile Music services, a 2 megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. As for the BlackJack II, it offers multiple e-mail account support, over-the-air synchronization of contacts, calendars and task lists, a 2 megapixel camera and GPS capabilities. Last but not least, we have the BlackBerry Curve that brings together e-mail and messaging capabilities in a premium handset that does not fall short where multimedia features are concerned. Honey, if you get me a red iPhone, I’m sold. Too bad the offer doesn’t extend to Apple’s wunderphone.
