I have been waiting for this gem to come out for months. I was surprised when I purchased it to find it did not work. Kensington send a replacement in the next week. It did not work. Spent two hours on the phone with tech support only to find that Microsoft's help section of Windows display had far more knowledge. Custom service is also slow and not efficient. Skip this item and buy a gallon of gas. It will go a lot farther than the dual display on a 1080p monitor.

These are really fantastic tools for adding monitor real estate simply. Sewell Direct has been selling these with DisplayLink chipsets since last month. They also have two resolutions available. High and Low res. The high res will support 22-inch monitors.

This is definitely handy for connecting second monitor. But do not expect you can play 3d game with it :D
